Electrify Zombies At The Forge’s Full Tilt Zombie Apocalypse Laser Tag Experience

Arm yourself with lasers to ward off swarming zombies at the biggest adventure park in America.

The Forge: Lemont Quarries just outside of Chicago is loaded top-down with action-packed entertainment for anyone and everyone to enjoy. With Halloween around the corner, the park has unleashed a Zombie Apocalypse laser tag game that’s out of this world. [Featured image: @theforgelemont]

Lemont Quarries offers an exhilarating mix of extreme sports, outdoor activities, educational programs, and outdoor entertainment features. In addition to yoga courses, zip lines, nearly 300 aerial elements, climbing and bouldering walls, and a bike pump track — in addition to many more awesome activities — the Quarries offers a series of tactical laser tag games.

“Adventure comes in endless forms at The Forge: Lemont Quarries and our tactical laser tag arena is the perfect example,” the park writes on their website.  “Playing tactical laser tag is a great way for people age 8 and up to experience the thrill of simulated combat experience without the pain and added expense of paintball.  Experience hyper-realistic sound effects while playing with military-grade replica weapons in small teams or large groups.”

The park offers over 30 tactical laser tag games, including their fall-themed Zombie Apocalypse survival match.

“You’ll find yourself immersed in a post-apocalyptic world where a zombie outbreak has run rampant and wreaked havoc on the world,” the park writes. “Your battleground is an old lab where scientists had been working on creating the cure to the zombie infection before being overtaken by a horde of the undead.”

“The game will consist of two teams battling against each other while simultaneously fending off flesh-eating zombies, who used to be patients at the lab before it was overrun. The team to earn the most points in the battle will be rewarded with the cure to the infection and will survive to see another day.”

If, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, you think you’d side with the undead, you can sign up to participate in the game as a zombie!

Zombie Apocalypse will start to take over the park on Friday, October 9, and will be available on weekends through October 31. Tickets for their Zombie Apocalypse Pass are available now for $35 for a 40-minute game.
