The Forge: Lemont Quarries just outside Chicago is loaded top-down with action-packed entertainment for anyone and everyone to enjoy. In addition to an exhilarating mix of extreme sports, yoga courses, zip lines, nearly 300 aerial elements, climbing and bouldering walls, and a bike pump track — and many more awesome activities — the Quarries offers a series of tactical laser tag games.
With Halloween around the corner, the park has now resurrected its Zombie Apocalypse Tactical Laser Tag experience offering immersive zombie survival games every weekend in October.
“Adventure comes in endless forms at The Forge: Lemont Quarries and our tactical laser tag arena is the perfect example,” the park writes on its website. “Playing tactical laser tag is a great way for people age 10 and up to experience the thrill of simulated combat experience without the pain and added expense of paintball. Experience hyper-realistic sound effects while playing with military-grade replica weapons in small teams or large groups.”
The park offers over 30 tactical laser tag games but it is their fall-themed Zombie Apocalypse survival match that is the most adrenaline-pumping activity this time of the year.
“You’ll find yourself immersed in a post-apocalyptic world where a zombie outbreak has run rampant and wreaked havoc on the world,” the park writes. “The game will consist of two teams battling against each other while simultaneously fending off flesh-eating zombies. The team to earn the most points in the battle will survive to see another day.”
If, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, you think you’d side with the undead, you can sign up to participate in the game as a zombie!
Zombie Apocalypse games will be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout October with games at 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, and 8 pm. Tickets for the Zombie Apocalypse Pass are $40 for a 40-minute game.
