The massive global broadcast will feature Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, and many more.
In this live music hiatus, which might last longer than any of us hope, musicians and artists everywhere have taken to the live-streaming to give us the music that we crave. From guitar lessons, to homespun performances, and now online festivals.
Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO) are kicking the virtual festival up a notch with One World: Together At Home. Broadcasting this Saturday, the virtual event will feature over a hundred musicians, celebrities, and athletes.
In support of the frontline healthcare workers and the WHO, Global Citizen launched a Together At Home series back in March. Since then, the series has featured at-home performances from the likes of Common, John Legend, and Jennifer Hudson.
The organization has held events, concerts, and festivals in the past to raise funds for their campaigns. Now, they are holding one of the largest virtual festivals to date.
One World: Together At Home will feature musical acts from Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Celine Dion, Eddie Vedder, Kacey Musgraves, Michael Bublé, Pharrell Williams, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, The Killers, and many more.

One World: Together at Home was curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Lady Gaga has raised over $35 million in support of the nation’s medical response by calling on world leaders to take action.
The festival, hosted by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon, will be broadcasted this Saturday at 7:00 pm [CDT] on numerous platforms including ABC, NBC, and CBS. You can also stream One World: Together At Home on Prime Video, Twitch, Facebook, Youtube, and other platforms.
As per the Global Citizen’s website:
“It’s on all of us to take action. Join us and we’ll follow up with actions you can take to increase your impact. The first step: stop the spread of the virus. That means keeping yourself and others safe by staying out of public as much as you can. Take the pledge: as a Global Citizen, I’m staying home!”
