Chicago AKA Gotham City, has long been associated with popular movie franchises over the years. We have a list of endless tv shows shot right in the city, from Shameless to The Bear (which recently dropped a brand new season 2 trailer featuring admired Chicago spots).
Now, Chicago is upping the ante once again with a series of show-stopping art installations to celebrate the 7th Transformers movie in theaters this June.
Did you know that multiple Transformers movies including Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Transformers: Age of Extinction were filmed right here in Chicago?
With the latest installment Rise of the Beasts coming to theaters on June 9, Navy Pier is pulling out all the stops with incredible larger-than-life statues showcasing the iconic shape-shifting Autobots made popular from the Transformers franchise.
The massive statues are on a world tour, only stopping by the city for a short period of time.
