We have enjoyed another summer full of cherished annual activities. The riverwalk and lakefront locations have thrived once again and some of the best Chicago experiences of the year like kicking back in a Chicago patio and kayaking down the Chicago River have provided fun-filled July and August.
Of all the most symbolic of summer in Chicago, Navy Pier’s summer program of events., in particular, the Navy Pier firework shows, are some of the most beloved.
Navy Pier is honored and proud to be a winner in the 2023 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest for Best Place to See Fireworks. Thank you to the thousands of people who voted!🎆#NavyPier #chicago pic.twitter.com/b1cvQ1qbOg

Recently voted the best place in the country to see fireworks by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards, the fireworks returned at the end of May kicking off the iconic landmark’s summer program of events and now it is coming to a close.
This year the fireworks returned on Saturday, May 27, and took place every Wednesday at 9 pm and every Saturday at 10 pm providing onlookers on the pier and elsewhere regular dazzling displays completely free of charge.
This Saturday, September 2, the last display of summer will take to the skies offering one last summer hurrah.
