Downtown workers in Chicago will have a fresh, locally-owned new spot for breakfast and lunch options beginning this week.
La Grange-based café Prasino is launching its first location in the Loop on Tuesday, August 25.
Here’s a sneak peek at the menu and what to expect.
First-look at Prasino’s Loop location
Prasino’s new downtown location at 33 S. Wabash Avenue promises an all-day café menu featuring Mediterranean-inspired selections.
Menu highlights include grain bowls, pita wraps and sandwiches, fresh salads, pastas, Greek yogurt, and more.
Guests can also choose from a list of beverage options, like the special Greek roast coffee or coconut vanilla matcha.
The café will accommodate both takeout and dine-in orders, with counter service and an expansive dining room.
Prasino’s Loop outpost is the first in a broader Chicago expansion for the suburban brand, with a West Loop location slated to open in 2027.
