Pizza Capri is leaving Lincoln Park
After more than three decades at the corner of Willow and Halsted, Pizza Capri has officially vacated the space forever. If you pass by the restaurant, you’ll see a sign thanking customers for their support over the years.
While this location is permanently closed for good, Pizza Capri has relocated to the space formerly occupied by Smoque Steak in Avondale at 3310 N. Elston Avenue.
The restaurant is known for its California take on Chicago stuffed pizza and delicate thin-crust pizza pies. Having been a family-owned Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park for over twenty years, this marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one in Avondale for Pizza Capri.
