A little slice of New York is coming to Chicago in 2025—popular NYC bagel shop H&H Bagels is opening its first Windy City location!
First reported by Crain’s, H&H Bagels is launching its flagship Chicago storefront at 164 N. Peoria Street in Fulton Market. The company previously announced a nationwide expansion in 2024, according to Eater.
Founded in 1972, H&H has gained a reputation for its classic lox bagels, housemade cream cheese, and other treats.
The shop has even been referenced in iconic NYC-based TV shows Seinfeld and Sex and the City.
An exact timeline for the opening has yet to be announced, but Chicagoans can expect updates soon.
