We’ve been looking forward to a new CAVA restaurant in Chicago for quite some time. While the first store opened in Wicker Park last year, it hasn’t quite satisfied our cravings—and that’s because it can be a pain to get to from the South or North side. However, that’s about to change.
CAVA will be opening its second store in Chicago soon, and it will be located in the heart of the city. So, for those of us living nowhere near Wicker Park—we couldn’t be more ecstatic.
Although CAVA has not made an official announcement yet, a recent TikTok video featured posters of its iconic yellow signature and images of its menu items on the corner of Ontario & Fairbanks in Streeterville.
This fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant offers a variety of curated and customizable bowls and pitas, featuring delicious options such as flavorful greens and grains, dips, spreads, dressings, and toppings.
CAVA has everything you could want—satisfying hummus, mouth-watering green goddess dressing, and pita that you’ll want to savor with every bite. One thing it has been lacking, however, is enough locations in Chicago. The 2nd CAVA restaurant will take over the spot Lyfe Kitchen previously occupied.
