Gangnam Market is expanding its footprint—the viral Asian grocery store is launching a second storefront in Chicago.

Gangnam Market is opening two new pop-up locations, one in Lakeview at 802 W Belmont Ave., and one in Chinatown at the Chinatown Square Mall.
Footage shared to Tik Tok from user @andrew_chen_ shows the Lakeview storefront currently under construction.
The new outposts are significantly smaller than the original Gangnam Market in West Town, and will reportedly offer a curated selection of the market’s favorite offerings.
We can only speculate, but stock could include treats like matchas, Asian ice cream novelties, whacky ramen flavors, and other specialty snacks.
