Visitors to the Chicago Loop will soon be able to get their Portillo’s fix without having to venture from downtown!
The iconic Chicagoland chain’s long-rumored new location is opening soon along Michigan Avenue.

Last year, rumors began to circulate after an NBC report showed that Portillo’s filed a permit application for the downtown space.
As far as the official opening timeline, it’s all still up in the air. But if the sign is any indication, the new Portillo’s should be opening very soon.
In the meantime, Portillo’s fans can visit the River North and Near West side locations to get their favorite Chicago-style eats.
