A new Whole Foods market is slated to open in Lakeview East. Here’s everything we know.
Whole Foods coming to Clark and Belmont
Whole Foods will open at 827 W Belmont Avenue, according to an Instagram post shared by @lakevieweast.
Whole Foods will take over space within a building which was completed in 2023 and has sat largely vacant since.
The rumored new location is located just several blocks from another Whole Foods location at 3640 N Halsted St. which has been there since 2007.
Neighbors have speculated on social media that the new Whole Foods at Belmont and Clark may replace the outdated store on Halsted.
For now, however, that’s just a rumor. An official opening timeline for the new store is also still up in the air.
