This year, Winterland is extending onto the iconic Wrigley Field. Step foot on the infamous greenery for a fantastic winter wonderland experience featuring a series of engaging games, like the brand new ice bumper cars! Take a spin around the rink on a high-speed adventure!
There’s so much fun to be had at the annual event! Bundle up and embrace adventure with a trip down the ice slide, or cozy up and enjoy a perfect treat with a make your own s’mores kit!
Winterland is filled with on-field games, and new rides like the Winter Tube, the Infield Express, and the Winter Whirl. Don’t miss out on a scenic view of the field with a nostalgic train ride on the brand new holiday train. Embrace heights with a trip around the nostalgic carousel, then lace-up a pair of skates and hit the ice for a whirl around the iconic rink!
After all the excitement, warm up by the fire and cool down with a drink and snacks at The Lodge. The sweet après-ski style pop-up features cozy accents and roaring firepits! Plus, the beloved themed pop-up, Mistletoe, is back brining festive cocktails, plenty of mistletoe and a whole lot of fun with food and drinks from Mordecai.
Or, if you want to go the extra mile, rent out a private Chalet– which includes access to the Gallagher Ice Rink, Winterland admission, 10 attraction tickets, and a full hot chocolate bar for guests to enjoy.
Filled to the brim with live music, arcade games, and warm drinks, Winterland is basically an essential holiday experience– now open from Monday through Thursday from 3 to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Tickets for Winterland start at $5 but access to other events like the holiday market, Santa’s Workshop, and more are free for all visitors. Everyone knows and loves Wrigleyville’s Christkindlmarket and this year is no different where scores of visitors line up to browse endless holiday wares and sip on hot cider. The annual event has already started and is the perfect place to grab handmade gifts.
There are a host of other seasonal activities happening throughout the month, like cheerful holiday movies, a holiday wreath-making workshop on December 3rd and 4th, and a Santa’s Workshop!
