Order a slice of chocolate cake and Doc B’s Restaurant & Bar will donate $5 to the American Brain Tumor Association.
Looking for an excuse to indulge in some Valentine’s chocolatey goodness? Add a good deed to your dessert at Doc B’s Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant will donate $5 to the American Brain Association for each slice of “Rob’s Double Decker Chocolate Cake” sold.
From the age of 10, it was always Craig Bernstein’s dream to open a restaurant. His father, Dr. Robert Bernstein, championed his son’s goal and in 2013, Craig’s first restaurant opened in Chicago. Unfortunately, Dr. Bernstein didn’t live to see his son’s dream come true, but his legacy lives on in the restaurant’s name.
Mr. Bernstein also named the chocolate cake on the menu after his father and is paying further homage by giving a significant donation to the American Brain Tumor Association during Feb, Dr. Bernstein’s birthday month. For every delicious slice of “Rob’s Double Decker Chocolate Cake” sold, Doc B’s will donate $5 to the organization.
Doc B’s serves elevated American cuisine featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients. It’s a comfortable, versatile place for dining out with friends or grabbing a drink or two after work. Some notable menu options include Not You Mom’s Tuna Sandwich with seared Ahi, avocado, a slice of apple, and ginger dressing on a sesame seed bun; Baked Polenta Fries that are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside; and of course, Rob’s Double Decker Chocolate Cake, perfect for Valentine’s Day (and funding a good cause.)
The chocolate cake special will last until the end of Feb, making Doc B’s a great place to spend Valentine’s Day. Doc B’s has two locations in Chicago in River North (55 E Grand Ave) and Gold Coast (100 E. Walton St.) Indulge in something chocolatey while doing some good; it’s a win-win!
