Is it too early to start looking ahead to spring break 2026? American Airlines doesn’t think so!
The airline is continuing its post-pandemic service expansion in Chicago by adding more than 100 new daily departures from O’Hare International Airport early this year.
Here’s a look at where you can fly this spring break!
100+ peak daily flights

The new peak daily departures from American Airlines will provide connectivity to over 75 popular U.S. destinations, including the following:
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- Boston, Massachusetts
- Dallas-Forth Worth, Texas
- Fort Myers, Florida
- Orlando, Florida
Additionally, American Airlines is doubling its existing spring break service to destinations including:
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Panama City, Florida
- Savannah, Georgia
- Sarasota, Florida
- San Francisco, California

This new expansion phase from American brings the airline’s peak operations at O’Hare to over 500 daily departures, 30% more than spring 2025.
“We’re committed to rebuilding our Chicago hub to be stronger and more compelling for our customers,” said American Airline executive Steve Johnson.
“…our 2026 plans are both emblematic of that objective and an exciting way to end a year defined by bold growth and investment at ORD.”
