Whether you’re a transplant or a lifelong Chicagoan, your journey in the city has likely taken you through O’Hare International Airport at one point or another.
Now, the Chicago Department of Aviation wants to hear your stories from the Windy City’s largest airport, as part of its new “O’Hare Moments” campaign.
Here’s what it’s all about, and how you can enter for a chance to win a prize worth $500!
All about O’Hare Moments

O’Hare moments comprises a marketing campaign across multiple in-airport displays, centered around the invaluable human connections made at the airport.
From first flights to family reunions, O’Hare has played a key role in the precious life stories of countless people.
The new campaign coincides with the ongoing ORDNext terminal expansion project, which includes the construction of two satellite concourses, the long-awaited Global Terminal, and a new underground tunnel for enhanced connectivity.

“O’Hare holds a special place in the memories of our travelers,” said CDA Commissioner Michael J. McMurray.
“Life’s most significant chapters often begin or end at our terminal gates. As we build new concourses that will serve Chicago and the region well into the future, we want to honor these stories and capture the promise of the moments that connect us.”
How to enter

The CDA invites travelers across the globe to submit a personal story from their life which took place at O’Hare. Anything from a proposal to a first trip abroad is welcomed.
Additionally, the CDA will choose one lucky winner at random to receive a $500 gift card.
