Best Intentions and Daisies both secured nominations for the coveted 2026 Spirited Awards.
The series honors “excellence across the global bar and cocktail industry,” according to the Spirited Awards site.
Best Intentions is among ten nominees for “Best U.S. Cocktail Bar,” while Daisies is among the ten nominees for “Best U.S. Restaurant Bar.”
Each bar has carved out its own respective niche in the Chicago bar and restaurant scene.
Best Intentions, which reopened in 2023 after a pandemic-era hiatus, is known for its elevated-dive aesthetic and quirky cocktail concoctions.
With a spirit list in the hundreds and a selection of tasty bar snacks, there’s something for everybody on the menu.
Daisies bar selection includes a curated selection of classic cocktails with a creative twist, like the “Mushroom Martini,” and the savory “Beet Manhattan.”
