With the weather finally heating up, it’s the perfect time to soak up the sun on the patio, enjoy cocktails on rooftops, and take in the beautiful views along the Chicago River. While you may already have your favorite spot reserved for gatherings in the coming weeks, there is a new Chicago riverfront hotspot to put on your radar.
The highly anticipated riverfront destination opens next week
NAIA is the latest riverfront restaurant that will possibly leave you standing agape. Stretching nearly an entire city block along the Chicago River from LaSalle Street to Wells Street, it offers a remarkable 12,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor dining experience in Chicago.
The main restaurant features riverfront booths tucked beneath pergolas and a dramatic, coliseum-style dining room that fans out from the water, ensuring every person seated has clear views of the river and skyline.
The venture comes from the Chicago hospitality group DineAmic, which draws inspiration from Southern France, Spain, Italy, and Greece while embracing the vibrant Levantine cuisines of Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, and other Eastern Mediterranean fare.
The menu will include seafood, grilled meats, salads, house-made pasta, flatbreads, and various shareable plates. The expansive patio will feature a full-service cocktail bar, oysters, and a crudo/sushi counter overlooking the river.
What truly makes NAIA a Mediterranean experience is the partnership with Downtown Docks, allowing for a genuine dock-and-dine experience. Guests can arrive by boat and dock just steps away from the restaurant along the river.
While NAIA officially opens June 1, you can make reservations now here.
