Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the Bean is so delightful!
Bundle up and head downtown for a holiday part concert, part sing-a-long: Caroling at Cloud Gate. Gather in front of the Cloud Gate sculpture (AKA The Bean) in Millennium Park and listen to a talented choir perform holiday classics or join in yourself for even more holiday fun!

Don’t worry if you don’t know the lyrics; songbooks will be distributed so everyone can sing allowed for all to hear. A large print version will also be available for those who need larger fonts to participate. You can also receive assisted listening devices if you email the event organizers 72 hours ahead of time.
Don’t want to sing? No problem. We get it; singing in front of people can be nervewracking. You don’t have to take a songbook or sing along. It’s perfectly fine to sit back and enjoy the music. Just make sure to bundle up, as it’s been chilly in Chitown lately.

The event is entirely free, making it an accessible and magical outing for the whole family. If you have the day off and want to kill some time before the event, consider taking a stroll over to Maggie Daley’s Ice Ribbon for a full afternoon of holiday delights! The Christkindlmarket is also in walking distance if you want to make it an all-day holiday outing to kick off your festivities. Don’t forget to grab some hot chocolate to keep you warm during the show!
If you love caroling or just enjoy live music, this is an event you can’t miss. We’re already half-way through the season, so you only have two more nights to catch some of Chicago’s best singers perform classic holiday songs in front of the city’s most popular art installation.
