There is something about Buc-ee’s that everybody loves. Known for being the world’s largest convenience store, featuring the longest car wash, exceptionally clean bathrooms, and an extensive range of food and drink options—including Beaver Nuggets, fresh-smoked brisket, and jerky. There is truly something for everyone.
And while a Buc-ee’s was recently announced in Wisconsin, it looks like another store will open soon—in Indiana. According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, Buc-ee’s is looking to open its first Indiana location in Greencastle.

Buc-ee’s coming to Indiana
The IBJ reported that Buc-ee’s is in the process of purchasing a site in Johnson County, off Interstate 65 and East Worthsville Road in Greenwood.
Additionally, they noted that Buc-ees is planning to open a second location east of I-65 in Boone County, at the County Road 550 South interchange in Whitestown.
For Chicagoans, this means they will have two nearby states to visit in order to enjoy Buc-ee’s. However, the first Buc-ee’s location in Illinois will still take a bit longer.
