The topic of the best croissant in Chicago can get a little icy. While there are numerous Chicago restaurants that know how to create a buttery, crescent-shaped French pastry, there is one place that has cemented itself as a go-to spot for light, flaky, and delicately sweet croissants—and that place is Green Michelin-starred Daisies.
And for this month only, Daisies added our new favorite croissant to the menu: the Chocolate Puck Croissant. Teaming up with Chicago Blackhawks, Logan Square’s beloved Italian restaurant created the Chocolate Puck Croissant, a dark chocolate croissant with stout and Irish cream mousse as the newest installment of their “Crossover Croissant Series”.
The croissant is being added to the line-up of celebrations taking place at the Chicago Blackhawks game this upcoming St. Patrick’s Day Weekend and to Daisies for all of March. You’ll want to snag a bite of the very first Chicago sports team edition pastry.
Attendees going to the game Sunday, March 17th will get the chance to try it for free. There will be very limited amount will for Blackhawks fans to sample at Sunday’s game in the United Center Atrium. If you don’t have tickets to the game, don’t worry. Daisies will be selling it for the rest of March at their address, 2375 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.
