There’s nothing like watching a Cubs game—especially with a beer in hand, of course. We mean, it is America’s pastime sport.
While beers at Wrigley seem to be getting more expensive, we don’t mind heading to a local bar on Clark to watch the game, drinking a cold one for about a fifth of the price.
Well, now the beers are getting even cheaper because Wrigleyville bars are celebrating 150 years of the Cubs with $1.50 beers. Yes, you read that right.

This Saturday, August 29th, as the Cubs take on the Reds at home, Wrigleyville staples Kindcade and Stolen Saddle will serve $1.50 Bud Lights from 3:30 to 5:30 PM during the game.
Along with $1.50 Bud Lights, Kindcade will have $20 domestic buckets, $25 seltzer buckets, $7 skrewballs, $8 green tea shot, and free hot dogs 1 hour before through 1 hour after the game with a drink purchase.
Stolen Saddle will also have game-day specials, including $5 vodka seltzers and $20 vodka seltzer buckets, plus free burgers during the game with the purchase of a beverage.
