Navy Pier’s Winter Wonderfest Will Host A ‘Sensory-Friendly’ Session For Those Who Need It

The seasonal attraction will be turning things down a touch to accommodate guests with sensory sensitivity.

The holidays are pretty hectic by anybody’s standards, and Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier, with all its spinning rides and attractions, is more dizzying still.

So, this Christmas season, the venue will be offering a special ‘sensory-friendly’ session on January 9. This inclusive occasion will feature limited lighting, reduced noises, quiet zones, and other such ambient softenings, to make the venue easier to enjoy for children and adults who find the typical environment too over-stimulating.

On top of this, tickets are available at a 50% discount when you book the session via the Navy Pier’s website. More events should do this!
