Farmers market fans, rejoice! Though the days of perusing the plethora of goods at open-air markets are sadly over, for now, the time to do exactly the same in the warmth of a cozy but spacious indoor venue has returned.
Moving indoors due to the chilly winter temperatures, The Wicker Park Farmers Market has moved into the Robey Hotel to sell seasonal veggies, produce, and more in the luxe hotel lobby through April 2024.
Having returned on December 3rd, the indoor season will now run on the first and third Sundays of each month from 9 am until 2 pm.
Organized by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, it is the market’s third annual indoor season hosted by The Robey Chicago and features a variety of new vendors including Oven Maiden, Green Gals, Midwest Mycelium, and Banter Marketplace as well as returners such as Chi’Tiva, Dorothy’s Bakery, Frogtown Juice, and other beloved local businesses.
The Robey also operates a full bar during the market, selling coffee, drinks, snacks, and more while the hotel’s main restaurant, Cafe Robey, will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and 5 to 9 p.m. for dinner.
A second-floor tiki-inspired cocktail bar, Clever Coyote, is also open from 3 p.m. for those looking interested in kicking back after perusing the indoor market.
The market can be found at Robey Hall, inside the Robey Hotel at 2018 W. Damen Ave.
