Chicagoans have a brand new way to explore Lake Michigan this summer—and the rest of the Great Lakes, too.
On Monday evening, the Victory II cruise liner officially set sail from Navy Pier, embarking on its maiden voyage from the heart of the city. The 300-foot ship is now offering multi-day cruises that sweep across all five Great Lakes.
Stops along the journey include scenic coastal towns and historic cities like Escanaba, Mackinac Island, Sault Ste. Marie, Detroit, Cleveland, Niagara Falls, and, finally, Toronto.
With room for up to 190 guests, the Victory II features spacious luxury suites and first-rate amenities designed for comfort and leisure.

If you’re looking for a unique summer escape without straying too far from home, this might just be the most scenic getaway of the season.
The Victory II will continue to depart from Navy Pier roughly every 10 days now through late September.
