Did you know November is World Vegan Month? Celebrate right at Sunda New Asian’s Vegan Feast!
Chicago Vegans rejoice! A one-of-a-kind vegan dining experience is coming to Chicago. Sunda New Asian recently announced its Vegan Feast which will take place Tues, Nov 12. Prepare to delight your tastebuds in honor of World Vegan Month!
Sunda is one of Chicago’s best Asian restaurants. Inspired by “a lifetime of culinary and culturally immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia,” Sundra brings a modern touch to traditional Asian cuisine from Japan, Indonesia, China, the Philippines, and other countries. Now Sunda is giving these classic, culturally-significant dishes a vegan twist for its exciting Vegan Feast.
Vegans and non-vegans alike are invited to take a tour of Southeast Asian cuisine through Sunda’s unique take on traditional dishes. The menu for Vegan Fest will include Burmese Tea Salad with puffed rice, pickled beet strings, sunflower seeds, peanuts, and oolong tea dressing, Shiitake Edamame Dumplings, and Filipino Mushroom Adobo with confit oyster mushroom, garlic, and puffed rice.
Guests will also be able to sample Sunda’s new vegan sushi line which includes Sweet Potato Caterpillar Roll with roasted sweet potatoes, Asian pear, avocado, black garlic teriyaki, roasted red pepper purée; and Beets Gunkan Maki with Okinawa sweet potatoes, golden beets, beet strings, candied walnuts, and ponzu rayu.
