
Getting a head start on your fall travel plans? Chicagoans will soon have more flight options than ever for escaping the chilly temperatures this autumn.
United Airlines is expanding its flight service from Chicago to dozens of warm-weather U.S. and international destinations this fall.
More flights to Florida, Texas, and Arizona
According to a release, the airline will operate up to 592 flights a day out of O’Hare in October, with 50 more added in November to destinations like Austin, Phoenix, and Orlando.
United will fly 10% more seats to Florida compared to 2024, according to the airline.
Expanded international service
Additionally, United will extend flight service to numerous Caribbean and Latin American destinations, including the following:
- Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR): Extended weekend service in October
- Cozumel, Mexico (CZM): Extended weekend service in November
- Saint Martin (SXM): Extended weekend service in November
- Guatemala City, Guatemala (GUA): Additional weekend service in October
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ): Additional weekend service in October
- San José del Cabo, Mexico (SJD): Additional weekend service in October
The added fall service follows an expansion trend for United at O’Hare, with the airline also increasing its summer service to a peak of 71,000 seats a day.
