If you’ve seen Disney’s “Tangled,” you’re likely familiar with the annual lantern festival held, where thousands of floating lanterns are released into the sky on Rapunzel’s birthday.
While it’s one of the most dazzling parts of the story, it doesn’t just happen in fictional settings.
The magical event is coming to Chicago, where you can finally light a lantern for yourself. At the festival, you can experience a spectacle reminiscent of thousands of stars illuminating the night sky.
What do the Chicago Lights Fest tickets include?
Tickets are still available for the Light Fest this weekend!
Starting at $36, each ticket includes one lantern and a marker for designing your lantern.
🎟️ Each person aged 13 and above requires an adult ticket.
🎟️ Each child aged 4-12 requires a kids’ ticket. Children 3 and under are free. (Kids’ tickets are discounted and include a Fun Kit, but do not include a lantern.)
