Chicago’s favorite fictional cooking crew stopped by one of the Windy City’s most beloved pizza joints over St. Paddy’s Day weekend!
The cast of The Bear paid a visit to Vito and Nick’s pizza shop in the South Side neighborhood of Ashburn on Saturday, March 15.
Stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Will Poulter took photos with staff and customers. The crew also signed a pizza paddle for staff, as shown in photos shared by Vito and Nick’s on Facebook.
“It’s always a pleasure when The Bear cast comes in – Thank you Chef 
,” wrote the restaurant.
A family-owned operation for nearly 100 years, Vito and Nick’s is among Chicago’s oldest pizza shops. The eatery has forged a legendary reputation for it’s old school, no-frills atmosphere, mouth watering pizza pies, and classic Italian-American comfort food.
The restaurant is no stranger to celebrity visits, previously hosting Food Network star Guy Fieri during an episode of the hit show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” in 2009.
Meanwhile, The Bear is in the midst of filming its fourth season. Cast and crew have popped up in various locations around Chicagoland in recent weeks, including River North, Skokie, Glenview, and other spots.
