Lollapalooza and Taste of Chicago aren’t the only local festivals on the calendar this August—the Windy City’s largest Greek festival is just around the corner!
The 35th annual Taste of Greektown is taking over West Loop from August 22-24, bringing three days of Mediterranean food and live entertainment to the Halsted Street corridor.
Whether you have Greek heritage yourself or are simply looking for a fun new fest to explore, there’s something for everyone at the 2025 event.
What to expect
Taste of Greektown 2025 will feature authentic eats from some of the city’s best Greek restaurants, including gyros, souvlaki, seafood, and more.
Those looking to test their appetite can even sign up for a gyro eating contest on Saturday.
Festivalgoers will also enjoy live music across two stages, as well as dancing, art and retail vendors, and other activations.
