Aurora was voted #4 in the nation for candy-collecting and Elgin also made an appearance on the list at #8. Joliet almost made the list, ranking just under the top 10 at #11.
The rest of the Midwest ranked well, too. Nampa, ID ranked #2, Dearborn, MI #3, Olathe, KS #7, Appleton, WI #9, and Racine, WI ranked #10. Between the many corn mazes and pumpkin patches, it’s no wonder the Midwest is Halloween central!
Official trick-or-treating hours in Chicago start at 4 p.m. and end 7:30 p.m. Get out there, be safe, and stay spooky, Chicago.
