Krasinski shared some viewers’ recipes with the pros!
This week’s segment of Some Good News with John Krasinski featured Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart, David Chang, and Stanley Tucci for an epic internet potluck!
Beloved host, John Krasinski, continues to warm the hearts of the masses with his weekly dose of good news. This week, he revealed his favorite user-submitted recipes, including: an Ina-Garten-worthy quarantini, dynamite sloppy joes, and some Polish pierogis.
After admitting his limitations as a chef, Krasiniski enlists the help of his star-studded friends to surprise his viewers and prepare their recipes for an online dinner party.
Actor, Stanley Tucci, popped into the chat to help with the quarantini — which consisted of, but was not limited to, four healthy shots of vodka.
TV host and American icon, Martha Stewart, surprised one viewer to cook her great-grandmother’s pierogi recipe, while fellow cooking host and chef, David Chang cooked up one viewer’s ‘worldly recipe’ that would become his wife’s favorite dish in quarantine.
The show also featured the Mayor of Flavortown himself, Guy Fieri, who put his own NorCal spin on the sloppy joes. The meme king added a little more fire to the dynamite sloppy joes with some jalapeños which he sandwiched with fried onions rings in some local sourdough bread — in true Fieri fashion.
On this week’s episode, Guy Fieri advertised his initiative, The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, which had raised $17 million for impacted industry workers.
Krasinski had one final surprise when he informed Fieri that, $3 million would be added to Fieri’s relief fund, courtesy of PepsiCo, leaving the Mayor of Flavortown speechless.
