Six Flags Great America in Gurnee will officially open for the season on Saturday, April 25, according to a report from WGN.
2026 is a special year for the amusement park, as Great America will honor its 50th anniversary with a summer-long celebration from June 20 through August 9.
During the anniversary celebration, parkgoers will enjoy special experiences including a new stage show and parade, a drone show, specialty food options, and more.
