Food festival season in Chicago is just around the corner, from the world’s biggest matcha festival to Taste of Chicago going down this summer.
Here’s one more to add to your list of can’t-miss events—the largest chocolate festival in Illinois is coming to Chicagoland next month!

Long Grove Chocolate Fest May 15–17

Chocolate Fest is back in suburban Long Grove May 15–17, bringing a full weekend of great food and great fun to the Chicago region.
Festivalgoers will enjoy an array of delectable treats from chocolate dipped strawberries to specialty desserts, classic carnival snacks, and variety of other local food and beverage options.
The fest will also feature live music and entertainment, carnival rides, games, prizes, and much more.

Each day of the festival will also include a special theme:
- Friday (Country Theme): Featuring a Morgan Wallen tribute and other live acts
- Saturday (90s Theme): A high-energy throwback night with tributes to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, and more.
- Sunday (Woodstock Theme): Classic rock finale with a Woodstock-inspired set.
Chocolate festival also extends all across town, with local restaurants and breweries offering specials throughout the weekend.

Tickets for Chocolate Fest 2026 are available for purchase online or each day at the gate.
Single-day general admission tickets are $7. Kids 12 and under can enjoy the fest free of charge!
