Chicago has a remarkable range of world-class museums and attractions. Some, like Lincoln Park Zoo and Garfield Park Conservatory, are free year-round while others the Museum of Science and Industry and the revered Art Institute of Chicago love to announce random Illinois Resident Free Days throughout the year.
On the back of Field Museum making Tuesdays free admission days, Shedd Aquarium has now announced that it will offer free admission for Illinois Residents every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the Shedd Aquarium website, the free admission days will last throughout September and October.
Tickets need to be secured ahead of a visit by booking online at sheddaquarium.org/plan-a-visit or over the phone by calling 312-939-2438.
