The Rolling Stones this week announced a 16-city tour across North America next year featuring a stop at Chicago’s very own Soldier Field at the start of summer.
Named after their recently-released album “Hackney Diamonds”, the tour kicks off in Houston, Texas on April 28, 2024, with a stop in Chicago on Thursday, June 27 before wrapping up in Santa Clara, California on July 17.
Famous for iconic songs such as ‘Wild Horses’, ‘Paint It, Black’ and ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, The Rolling Stones are one of the most successful bands of all time with estimated record sales of over 200 million, three Grammy Awards and inductions into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the UK Music Hall of Fame.
They also broke the record for the all-time highest-grossing concert tour three times in 1990, 1995, and 2006. Both the A Bigger Bang Tour from 2005–2007 and the No Filter Tour from 2017–2021 still remain inside the top 10 highest-grossing tours in history to this day.
The recent album Hackney Diamonds is the band’s first all-original album since they released A Bigger Bang 18 years ago in 2005. It is also their first since drummer Charlie Watts died in 2021.
“Fans can expect to experience Mick, Keith, and Ronnie play their most popular hits ranging from “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Satisfaction” and more, as well as fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album HACKNEY DIAMONDS” reads the band’s website.
An announcement posted to the Rolling Stones’s social media channels revealed that the fan ticket presale would open on Wednesday, November 29 at noon (CT) till Thursday, November 30 at 10 pm (CT) before the general ticket sale commences on Friday, December 1.
Fans will need to enter their details via the Rolling Stones website before 11 am (CT) on Tuesday, 28th November to gain pre-sale ticket access and receive an exclusive ticket pre-sale code.
