The Original Rainbow Cone is going full Christmas-mode, launching its holiday menu this week!
The South Side chain has announced a limited-time selection of peppermint-infused treats, from its classic sliced cones to cookie sandwiches and more. Here’s a look at what’s in store.
What’s on the menu
- Peppermint Sliced Creation: Five layers of vanilla and mint chocolate chip ice cream stacked the signature Rainbow Cone way, topped with crushed peppermint for a cool, festive bite.
- Peppermint Shake: A creamy blend of vanilla ice cream and peppermint, finished with whipped cream and a mini donut for a sweet, minty sip.
- Peppermint Cake: Layers of mint chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream with crushed peppermint over a rich chocolate cake base, finished with white frosting and white chocolate wafers.
- Peppermint Cookie Sandwich: Mint chocolate chip and chocolate ice cream layered between two sugar cookies and rolled in crushed peppermint.
- Peppermint Crunch Super Sundae: Mint chocolate chip and chocolate ice cream layered with hot fudge, crushed peppermint, and mini cinnamon sugar donuts, topped with whipped cream, crushed peanuts, and a cherry.
- Pecan Pie Super Sundae: Butter pecan ice cream layered with caramel, crushed peanuts, and cinnamon sugar donuts, topped with whipped cream and a cherry for a sweet, nutty holiday indulgence.
