Okay, you can stop looking now—I’ve found the best videos on the internet.
Cute animals are a huge comfort in times of trouble, and I’d argue that we need them now more than ever. Since lockdown began, a group of penguins stole our hearts when they roamed around an empty aquarium in Chicago, and then made us swoon when they had a playdate with otters — but they weren’t the only ones to get a private aquarium tour.
Georgia Aquarium teamed up with Atlanta Humane Society to invite their cutest residents over for a little adventure. First we saw Carmel and Odie, an adorable pair of rescue pups zooming around the tanks.
These adorable siblings, thought to be a terrier mix, were able to get up close and personal with the likes of whale sharks, manta rays and other sea life, before retiring in the aquarium’s Ocean Voyager gallery window for a kip.
The sought after sequel featured Nemo, Dory, Guppy, Bubbles, and Marlin; a team of five adventurous aquaticats with very apt names.
Sadly the Humane Society has been forced to pause its services, facilitating only a very limited number of adoptions. But these fluffs are in very good hands, and will go up for adoption once the organization is able to fully reopen again.
In the meantime, you’ll find me watching these videos on repeat for the rest of time.
