The Bears’ season may be over, but a different kind of football is taking over Soldier Field this summer.
On July 30, Premier League soccer is bringing an action-packed tournament to the Windy City, giving Chicago fans a rare chance to see the U.K.‘s highest level football league up close in action.
The one-day event will feature a must-see doubleheader: West Ham United vs. Everton and Manchester United vs. AFC Bournemouth.
The event is part of the league’s pre-season Summer Series tournament, which runs from July 26 to August 3 and includes additional matches in cities like Atlanta and the New York metro area.
The 2025 Summer Series marks the Premier League’s second-ever visit to the U.S. and its first-ever visit to Chicago. The league hosted it’s inaugural edition of the U.S. Summer Series in 2023, with more than 265,000 fans attending.
“We are delighted to be bringing the Premier League Summer Series back to the United States,” said Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters.
“We know from our previous tournament and Premier League Mornings Live events that we and our clubs have incredibly loyal and passionate fans in the U.S. who get up early to follow their teams during the season.”
Pre-sale for Premier League at Soldier Field begins Thursday, March 13. Fans can register now for early access to tickets.
