Portillo’s is officially coming to Wrigley Field!
The arrival signifies the iconic Chicago-born brand’s presence in one of the city’s most cherished neighborhoods, where baseball fans and local residents have long sought a Portillo’s restaurant.
The new Portillo’s location is set to open in 2027 at 3519 N. Clark Street, ideally situated just a short stroll from the iconic Cubs stadium. Spanning approximately 4,600 square feet, the restaurant will offer in-house dining, as well as pickup and delivery services.
Additionally, this Wrigleyville restaurant will feature the brand’s first-ever walk-up window, specifically designed for ordering and pick-up.

To celebrate the news, Portillo’s is hosting a free National Hot Dog Day pop-up tonight from 4 PM to 8 PM near the corner of Clark Street and Patterson Avenue, with photo opportunities, exclusive swag, and other surprises.
