The cheese grater hat that took over Soldier Field last season now comes in a much smaller size…one that will perfectly fit on your dog.
The best part? It’s just in time for the Bears’ first matchup against the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday, October 11.
PAWS Chicago and Foam Party Hats have launched a pet-sized Graterhead, sized for dogs and a few willing cats.
The collaboration is called “Great Pets Grate Cheese,” and a portion of the proceeds from every hat sold will fund PAWS Chicago’s work for homeless pets.

Where to get the pet-sized Graterhead before kickoff
If you want a hat before Sunday, PAWS Chicago will hold a special one-day, in-person sale at its Lincoln Park Adoption Center, 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., on Friday, October 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be only 50 hats available for $30 each, sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Every dollar raised from this sale will go directly to PAWS Chicago.
If you can’t make it on Friday, the pet-sized hat will also be available through the Foam Party Hats website. In that case, only a portion of each sale benefits PAWS.
Why is this important for local pets? The funds will help PAWS Chicago provide medical care, enrichment, and support to homeless dogs and cats, aiding them in their journey to find furever homes.
“Few things bring Chicagoans together like their love of dogs and the Chicago Bears,” said Jill Siar, Assistant Director of Community Partnerships at PAWS Chicago. Manuel Rojas, CEO of Foam Party Hats, says the cause is personal: “I’m a dog owner, so this one is personal.”
And as if you needed another reason to make the purchase—Quarterback Caleb Williams’ dog, Supa, already has one.
