If you’ve been thinking of adopting a pet in Chicago, now’s your chance!
PAWS Chicago is aiming to find homes for over 100 cats, kittens, puppies, and dogs at its Spring Adopt-a-Thon event, this weekend May 16-18 (1997 N. Clybourn Ave).
According to the organization, cats and dogs are being turned into Chicago animal shelters at an overwhelming rate. By taking home a furry friend, Chicagoans can help save lives and reduce overpopulation in city shelters.
Adopt-a-Thon hours
- Friday, May 16: 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Saturday, May 17: 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 18: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
