Viral French bakery and café chain Paris Baguette is opening its 6th Windy City outpost in Lakeview, and construction is underway.
Here’s a sneak peek at your new pick-me-up destination.
Paris Baguette Lakeview
South Korea-based chain Paris Baguette is preparing to open at 3478 N. Broadway in Lakeview East. Signage featuring the brand’s logo appeared on the storefront over the summer.
The chain has gained viral popularity on social media in recent times for classic French pastries like croissants and pains au chocolates, plus creative coffee and matcha drinks.
Paris Baguette offers a variety of other treats and bites like cake slices, artisanal sandwiches, and rotating seasonal pastries.
The brand is also known for its fun themed drink collaborations. Recently Paris Baguette partnered with Dancing With the Stars for a limited-edition selection of croissant+latte combos inspired by the hit TV show.
The chain currently operates 5 additional locations throughout Chicago in South Loop, Streeterville, Gold Coast, Chinatown, and West Loop.
An exact opening date for the Lakeview café has not been announced, but signage at the location currently reads “coming soon.”
