COMPOP on Prairie Rooftop at Ace Hotel Chicago is setting off tomorrow at 6 pm.
Tomorrow night Prairie Rooftop at Ace Hotel will host COMPOP, a market showcasing Mexican design alongside Black and Latino artists from Chicago with DJs, drink specials and more.
In need of plans Friday night? Prairie Rooftop at Ace Hotel Chicago is coming through again, this time with an eclectic open-air market. The Prairie Rooftop is one of the beautiful stages of Fever’s enchanting outdoor candlelight concerts, and this Friday, Ace is partnering with Comercio Popular and La Luna Mezcal to host COMPOP: an eclectic pop-up market featuring contemporary Mexican design alongside local artwork.
“COMPOP is an opportunity for the Chicago community to shop from unique collections of fashion apparel, jewelry, plants and home goods on our open air rooftop terrace,” the group wrote on their event page.
Tickets are $7 and include a drink from La Luna Mezcal. Beginning at 6 pm, you can browse through an enticing, curated collection of jewelry, clothing, plants, and more as you help yourself to their many drink specials and food vendors.
Additionally, 100% of proceeds will go towards benefitting “Black and Brown organizations working for causes affecting BIPOC, queer, transgender and undocumented people.”
If you can’t make it this weekend, Ace Hotel will partner with La Luna Mezcal a second time on Tuesday, August 18, for La Luna Mezcal Dinner. The rooftop dinner will feature a five-course meal that will pair staple flavors of Chicago with unique agave varietals. Agave expert, Lou Bank, will guide your special evening which will also feature live music from Mexican opera singer, Edgar Ricaud!
