If you grew up in the 90s or the early 2000s, it’s hard not to get nostalgic about the beloved, favorite shows like Fairly OddParents, Spongebob SquarePants, and Rugats.
Nickelodeon has changed significantly since then, and it may seem like we can never return to those blissful memories of sitting in front of the TV and seeing what shannegans those characters were up to. However, don’t be fooled; old Nickelodeon will never truly go away.
We just have to seek it out.
A favorite pizza restaurant is reviving that peak Nickelodeon sentimentality with the “Nick at Neon” pop-up in Chicago. Throughout of April and May, fans of the beloved shows such as Hey, Arnold!, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim, and Danny Phantom can step into a nostalgic wonderland filled with themed cocktails, snacks, and photo ops.
Some menu standouts include the Krusty Krab Pizza, Stoop Kid’s Cheese pizza, Chucky’s Cheese Curds, and Squidward Rings. If you’re of age, you need to try their one-of-a-kind shots: the Jelly Fish Jam, Slime, and Blue’s Clues.
For those who still watch these shows, there will be Nickelodeon Trivia every Thursday at 7 PM.
