Have you ever thought that you wouldn’t need a credit card or cash when shopping? Now, there’s a place where all you need to make a purchase is your compassion.
After its debut in New York City last year, Mrs. Meyer’s Compassion Store is opening in Chicago, where it all began with the very first Lots of Compassion Garden in the Woodlawn neighborhood.
This store is part of the brand’s Lots of Compassion program, a national initiative that aims to empower community growth by transforming vacant lots into flourishing gardens.

So, how does Mrs. Meyer’s Compassion Store work?
Inside, shoppers can engage in tangible acts of kindness, such as sending someone a kind postcard or pledging to improve their community, in exchange for valuable products that nurture compassion in their backyard, like plants and Mrs. Meyer’s Compassion Flower products.
The Compassion Store is an extension of the brand’s Lots of Compassion national program, providing more people with the tools to harness the goodness of the garden and cultivate compassion in their backyards.
When will Mrs. Meyer’s Compassion Store open in Chicago?
The store is a pop-up! It will be open on Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where is Mrs. Meyer’s Compassion Store located?
