From group wellness events to whiskey tastings and a chocolate-themed weekend, there’s something fun for everybody at Chicagoland’s largest arboretum.

New Year’s resolution and wellness programming
Chicagoans can kick off the New Year at Morton Arboretum with a variety of fitness and wellness programming. Choose from mindful movement classes, outdoor exploration opportunities, and immersive art experiences.

Chocolate weekend
This winter, be sure to head to Morton Arboretum for a weekend-long celebration of the cacao-tree and all things chocolate.
The arboretum invites visitors to explore a variety of presentations by cacao experts, providing a fun and educational look at how chocolate is made from the bean up!
Guests will also enjoy an all-out chocolate market featuring homemade baked goods, candies, and other sweets—perfect for Valentines Day gift giving!
Juniper Junction
The Morton Arboretum is unveiling Juniper Junction this winter in partnership with the LGB Model Railroad Club of Chicago.
This sprawling large-scale model railroad is the perfect all-ages experience, featuring a captivating display of miniature moving trains, buildings, and other intricate details.
Here’s the best part—a visit to Juniper Junction is included in a standard admission ticket! The display is open daily at the arboretum’s Firefly Pavilion through Sunday, February 22.
Winter Whiskey Tasting
Morton Arboretum is teaming up with whiskey experts from Binny’s Beverage Depot for the ultimate winter whiskey tasting event on Saturday, March 14.
Guests will enjoy a curated selection of whiskeys along with live music, fire pits, light bites, and NA beverage options.
Tickets include access to one of two tasting sessions, a six-ounce snifter whiskey glass, bottomless whiskey samples, along with admission to the arboretum.
