The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce is launching a new block party series that will close Milwaukee Avenue to car traffic once a month.
Shopping, live music, and community
“Meet Me on Milwaukee” will take place on the last Sundays of August, September, and October, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., according to the chamber.
The goal of the event is to create a pedestrian-friendly space for residents to explore local small businesses and foster community.
Guest will enjoy live music and vendor booths from local shops while having the chance to socialize and stroll freely along the street.
