Burritos stuffed with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos are officially in Chicago!
Man vs Fries is debuting five food trucks across Chicago this week offering Chicagoans the chance to try the Instagram-famous Flamin’ Hot Cheeto burritos and their over-the-top french fries.
The flourishing San Francisco Bay-area virtual restaurant chain was founded by William Bonhorst, a self-proclaimed connoisseur of French fries, and judging by the photos we’re not going to be disputing that claim anytime soon.
Be warned, these images can cause an overwhelming craving for fries.
The next level fry game offers customers the chance to create their own decadent combinations. The first stage is a choice between seasoned straight or curly fries followed by a meat choice between carne asada or pollo asado and then topped off with either the NORCAL STYLE (Northern California-style with cheese, sour cream, and guacamole) or the SOCAL STYLE (Southern California-style with grilled onions, cilantro, and jalapeños).
Though the slogan reads “Fries Before Guys” there more than fries that meets the eyes. The burritos are also an excessive showpiece teeming with mouth-watering ingredients.
The Instagram-famous burritos stuffed with Cheetos is likely to split a few opinions described on the Man vs Fries website as a SOCAL BURRITO containing “carne asada vs pollo asado, flamin’ hot cheetos, straight-cut fries, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, secret sauce, side of queso.”
The food trucks are now serving in East Garfield Park, Irving Park, McCormick Place, River North, and University Village but they will be there for a limited time only as the contents will not last the test of time and the trucks will operate every day from 11 am until they are all sold out.
The trucks have arrived as part of a push to open 75 new Man vs Fries locations across the United States and Canada. You can head to their Pop-Up Shops page to find more information.
