Chicagoans will soon be able to order Los Pollos Hermanos via online delivery!
In the afterglow of newly released Breaking Bad movie El Camino, the show’s fictional restaurant Los Pollos Hermanos is coming to life via Uber Eats. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the virtual restaurant launches Oct 24 in Los Angeles and if it does well there, Chicagoans will soon be able to order Fring Fries, Pollo Tenders, and ABQ Hot Chicken Sandwiches, too! The virtual restaurant is based on the one in the show owned by Gustavo Fring’s (Giancarlo Esposito) and Max Arciniega (James Martinez). Behind the virtual pop-up is the delivery kitchen network Family Style Inc. in partnership with Uber Eats and Sony Pictures Consumer Products.
The restaurant plans to launch exclusively on Uber Eats and will serve a variety of foods Breaking Bad fans will be familiar with. Highly anticipated is the ABQ Hot Chicken Sandwich, “served on a buttered bun with dill pickle chips and a whole grain mustard spread,” according to Uber Eats. It also comes with a side of “Slaw Goodman” coleslaw.
There’s no word yet on when Los Pollos Hermanos will be available in Chicago. Illinois Breaking Bad fans will just have to wait and see. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
