Kanye’s manager confirmed that his tenth studio album will “100%” be released after the event.
Kanye West and his agent Abou “Bu” Thiam last week dropped big news about Kanye’s forthcoming album Donda. The two posted on Instagram to announce that a Donda listening event will take place at Soldier Field on August 26 at 9 pm.
Featuring collaborations with Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, and others, it’s likely those who attend Kanye West Presents: The Donda Album Experience at Soldier Field will be treated to some entirely new tracks and an elaborate setup inside the 60,000+ seater stadium.

Several news sources have already revealed that an actual house resembling Kanye West’s 1,600-square-foot Chicago childhood home was being built in the middle of Chicago’s Soldier Field this week.
Images have since been circulating on social media platforms and a few days ago the rapper cleared his Instagram account entirely and began posting photos relating to his upcoming album. The first of these was an image of the South Shore house that he and his mother Donda moved into in 1980.
According to Donda West’s memoir, Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar, she moved to Chicago from Atlanta with then-3-year-old Kanye West in 1980 where she lived until 2003. Kanye West then repurchased the home last year for around $225,000.

Named for his late mother who died in 2007, the rapper and producer’s tenth album is slated to arrive on Friday, August 27, according to a listing on Apple Music. Responding to comments on his Instagram post, West’s agent, “Bu” then also revealed that the much-anticipated (and frequently delayed) album would “absolutely” be released after the event.
It is worth noting, however, that the album has had multiple release dates since its original expected release in July of last year. Including a release from West’s representatives stating that the album would be released on August 6 following a previous ‘Donda’ listening experience in Atlanta.

So far Kanye has hosted two listening events featuring songs from the upcoming album, both at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The second of these was live-streamed via Apple Music and was watched by 5.4 million people making it the most-watched live stream in Apple Music’s history. The elaborate show on August 5 featured several other renowned artists as well as a troupe of dancers and dramatic visual effects courtesy of creative director Demna Gvasalia.
Tickets for Kanye West Presents: The Donda Album Experience at Soldier Field went on sale last Friday at noon via Ticketmaster and is expected to start at 9 pm tonight.
